Brownes Addition is the historic district west of downtown. It has Victorian mansions that have been converted to apartments, alongside newer development as well.

Young professionals and creatives are drawn to its walkability and nightlife. National Register historic district with character you cannot replicate.

East Central is undergoing revitalization. Historically this was where the Black community was steered through redlining. The Carl Maxey Center now supports Black entrepreneurs and the neighborhood is rebuilding.

It is a more affordable entry point with appreciation potential as investment continues.
